Are Experts Empowering Brides?
It is the knot or the wedding bridal bloggers empowerment to an extent detrimental? While wedding vendors do not have to do what they do at a discount, the consumer can affect the perceived value of goods and services. At the same time, if the bride arrives at the wedding collection dresses with unrealistic expectations, is not up to that provider to educate the bride? I do not think so surprising that brides do not know how certain flowers or clothing costs or time worth to a wedding professional.
Jenny Scala of the Society of American Florists did just that, writing with Anja Winikka following the hook.
We think you want to know that we heard in the member florists referred brides segment gives an unrealistic expectation that the price of flowers. In fact, several flower shops across the country at prices that were in the agreements came at a price less than double what was quoted in the program. Some even speculate whether the prom dresses costs were, possibly, wholesale vs. retail prices, including all materials used in class, in addition to job delivery, and installation.
Seems pretty simple to me. Brides have always advised to seek any kind of cocktail dress discount they think they can get, but I'm also quick to warn that the wedding vendors are free to say no. Thoughts?
